Pre-Algebra B Course addresses the 7th Grade California Standards for Mathematics

At the end of the course, students know how to manipulate numbers and equations. They know the Pythagorean theorem and how to compute the surface area and volume of basic three-dimensional objects and understand how area and volume change with a change in scale. They understand how to represent fractions, decimals, and percents. They apply ratio and proportion, compute percents of increase and decrease, and compute simple and compound interest. They graph linear functions and understand the idea of slope and its relation to ratio.

Geometry Course addresses the 10th Grade California Standards for Mathematics

At the end of the course, students know how to construct formal, logical arguments and proofs in geometric settings and problems. Students prove and use theorems involving conguence, similarity, properties of parallel lines , quadrilaterals, and circles.
